01How your data is stored
Pill Assist stores all of your information locally on your device — medications, schedules, people, pharmacies, dose history, and photos. We do not operate a server, and we do not hold a copy of your data.
Because of this, there is no account to close and no request you need to send us to have your health data erased — you are always in full control directly from the app.
02Delete specific data in the app
You can remove any individual record at any time:
Delete a person
- Open the person from the People tab.
- Tap Edit, then Remove Person.
- Confirm. This permanently deletes that person along with all of their medications, supplements, and dose history.
Delete a medication, supplement, or pharmacy
- Open the item you want to remove.
- Tap Edit, then Remove.
- Confirm to permanently delete that item and its associated history.
03Delete everything
To remove 100% of your Pill Assist data in one step:
- Uninstall the app from your device.
- Because all data lives on the device, uninstalling permanently and irreversibly removes every medication, person, pharmacy, dose record, and photo stored by Pill Assist.
No further action is required, and there is nothing left on any server for us to delete.
04What is kept & retention
We retain nothing about you on any server. Your health and profile data exists only on your device.

Ad-supported build
If you use the version of Pill Assist that includes advertising, Google AdMob may process an advertising identifier and limited usage data to serve ads — only with your consent. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (and Apple Advertising).
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
The No-Ads build of Pill Assist contains no advertising SDK and processes no advertising data whatsoever.
